Location: onsite, office in Berkeley, CA

About Experience in Software:

We develop and sell business productivity software to the SMB market primarily via our website, through resellers, and currently a very small percentage over the phone. Our customers range from Fortune 500 companies, to one person consultancies. The sectors we serve are also varied, and we have a decent portion of our sales from international customers.

 

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop new prospects and expand existing accounts
  • Prospect calling and Telemarketing is a must!
  • Maintain required number of quality outbound calls, and phone time, to customer contacts per day and week
  • Generate incremental revenue according to specific targets
  • Record accurate customer and lead data to the CRM system
  • Provide high level of customer service to ensure client’s complete satisfaction
  • Educate prospects on our products and services and manage prospect objections
  • Proficiency (or ability to learn quickly) standard corporate tools (email, voicemail, MS Office, CRM, WebEx, etc)
  • Conduct in-depth, online, product presentations as needed

Primary Qualifications:

  • Effective phone presence and professional, confidence-inspiring personality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic with a “whatever it takes” attitude.
  • Prior experience in inside sales is a plus. Prior experience in software sales a plus
  • College degree preferred
  • 0 to 3 years of sales experience, recent graduates are welcomed to apply
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Determination to surpass performance goals
  • Willingness to learn
  • Ability to work individually and can also take direction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good listening and strong verbal and written communication skills.

 

This is currently a contract-only, commision-based, position, without benefits.
